United Airlines Mobile Rebrand


While at United Airlines, I played a central role in their 2020 mobile app rebrand. I was the lead designer for the Mobile App & Notifications team, and coordinated between an external design agency and several internal business teams to make sure that the design library we were creating together aligned with business needs, brand standards, accessibility requirements, and iOS and Android guidelines and best practices. I managed our central Sketch library, as well as providing individual designs for the app homepage and assisting the Mobile Booking team with overflow work when needed. I assisted the accessibility lead for the project and the United a11y team in developing a system of accessibility documentation that was previously not available for native mobile platforms. I also worked with the mobile development team across seven different workstreams to make sure that the designs we were creating were properly executed and any technical challenges were met and resolved.
